GCE/GCSE Award Holders

Candidates must pass three ‘A’ level subjects with minimum grades of CCD. In addition, a missing language subject may be presented at GCSE level with a minimum grade C. All candidates must present a minimum of six GCE/GCSE subjects, which must include pass levels (grade C or higher) in English and Mathematics.

International Baccalaureate Diploma Holders

Candidates must pass six subjects, three at Higher Level and three at Subsidiary Level.

Other Academic Qualifications

Candidates who wish to present other qualifications to gain admittance to Shannon College should contact the Admissions Office directly to discuss minimum entry requirements. Please note that candidates must satisfy the matriculation regulations of the National University of Ireland (NUI)
