Students take the first step in their management career at the end of Year 4. This placement/internship is at a trainee management level and takes place in hotels in worldwide locations. Leading hotel companies visit Shannon College to recruit final year students onto their trainee management and similar programmes or as direct hires. Year 4 students are assisted by the Placement Manager to decide which career path to pursue and which hotel companies to apply for and interview with. International Trainee Mangement Internships are subject to visa eligibility of students. Current Year 4 students are completing their placement in Ireland, the UK, the US, Asia and the Arabian Gulf.
