The Year 4 Class held a holiday trade fair in the Park Inn Hotel last week, promoting holiday destinations and packages to students, staff and local businesses. The holiday trade fair was set up as part of the Economics of Tourism module undertaken in Year 4 of the Bachelor of Business Studies in International of Hotel Management. Supervised by Tourism Lecturer, Sean T. Ruane, the students had to staff a trade stand, promoting a destination and a package holiday. The students were required to consider connectivity from Shannon Airport, accommodation choices, activities and most importantly price!
