Hotel Arts Barcelona, is just one of the work placement partners of Shannon College. If you are studying Spanish in the Leaving Cert, then consider putting your language skills to use during the Year 2 internship in Spain. Spanish speakers are in high demand in the End of Year 4 Internship, especially with the college’s US hotel partners. Hotels in New York, Washington and other cities value Spanish speakers, as many of their employees are native speakers.   

All students at Shannon College study a second language; Spanish, French or German. Non native English speakers take English as their second language. The entry requirement is a D3 grade in Ordinary Level in the Leaving Cert. Students who have language  exemptions in the Leaving Cert can carry forward their exemption to Shannon College.
